In the one hundred years since, there have been other battles to fight and a long line of kick-ass activists, thinkers and revolutionaries to fight them. From Emmeline Pankhurst through Barbara Castle to Malala Yousafzai and the #MeToo protesters, these women and their male allies stood up and spoke out.
