The art of suffrage propaganda – talk by Elizabeth Crawford

An illustrated talk at the Working Class Movement Library alongside the suffrage centenary exhibition, discussing the wide range of artworks – banners, posters, postcards, china, jewellery etc –  produced by suffrage artists in support of the women’s suffrage campaign in the years before the First World War. The talk draws on research undertaken for Elizabeth’s latest book, Art and suffrage: a biographical dictionary of suffrage artists.
