Suffragette Sleepout in aid of Emmeline’s Pantry
Join Emmeline's Pantry for a night under the stars with a difference! A sponsored sleepout to fundraise for Emmeline's Pantry, a local women's food bank that supports struggling and vulnerable women across Manchester. The evening will include entertainment, live music and food. Register for your sleep out by the 20th June or pop along for the evening activities and buy a ticket at the door. Lunch-time violin recital: The March of the Women
Enjoy a lunch-time recital of Ethel Smyth’s iconic 1910 anthem The March of the Women on October 11 from 1pm. Violinist Rachel Swanick and piano accompanist will perform the piece here at Emmeline Pankhurst’s former home, in commemoration of the first meeting of the suffragettes, which took place at the house on October 10, 1903.
