International Women’s Day Walk Out With Law Walking Tour of Manchester

A walking tour of Manchester in celebration of International Womens Day. Hear stories from our guests walkers of their experiences of the women’s movements in Manchester and the significance of the centenary this year of some women being given the right to vote. We will walk, talk and connect the accounts of Manchester’s women with law and social justice over the past 100 years.

The walk will start at the Pankhurst Centre and finishing at Manchester Law School at Manchester Metropolitan University.

Meeting time at The Pankhurst Centre: 1pm

Finishing time at Sandra Burslem: 2.30pm followed by refreshments

This is the second in a series of Walk Out With Law walks, organised by Manchester Centre for Law in Society to walk, talk and explore themes on law and social justice in action.
